When do you accept items?

We accept items based on the seasonal needs of our clientele. The schedule below can be used as a general guide:

  • Spring: February 1 – May 15
  • Summer: May 15 – September 1
  • Fall: September 1 – November 1
  • Winter: November 1 – February 1

 

How should I bring my items in?

Please bring items in excellent condition, on hangers, freshly cleaned and pressed. All items should be in style and no more than three (3) years old.  Minimize the items that we do not accept by taking the time to look for broken zippers, missing buttons, rips, stains, pilling, fading, etc. — we do not accept these items.

 

How does Nora and Nicky’s decide on pricing?

Our staff stays up-to-date with current style trends and what is popular with our customers.  We know the market and what is in demand.  We set the prices usually at 1/3 of the original retail price.

 

When and how do I get paid?

You will only be paid after your items are sold and may call us to check on your account.  Consignor checks can be prepared for you after the 10th of each month. You may also use your account balance as store credit at any time.

 

How much do I get paid?

You will receive 45% of Nora and Nicky’s selling price.

 

How long are my items left in-store?

Your items are on display in-store for 90 days, at the end of that period we will call you and ask if you prefer to pick up your unsold items or if you would like to donate them to support our community outreach partners: Dress For Success and Big Brothers Big Sisters.

 

Will you call me?

Nora and Nicky’s will only call you once your items have expired, after 90 days if there are any remaining items. If you would like to check on the status of any consigned items or your account balance, feel free to call us at any time and we will be happy to look that information up for you.

 

What are your store hours?

Both locations are open 11am-6pm Tuesday – Saturday and 1pm-5pm Sunday

 

What is your return/exchange policy?

All sales are final. *In the event of an extenuating circumstance, we will be happy to discuss alternative options for store credit with you.
